FRANCO: JAG KANSKE ÄR GAY

James Franco är inte bara en av världens hetaste skådespelare, han är även en av de mest frispråkiga och öppet gayvänliga. Hans attityd och valet av filmroller, där han ofta spelar gay (Milk, Howl och den kommande The broken Tower) har gett upphov till en uppsjö av spekulationer i media och på bloggar om hans sexualitet.

Inför det kommande jobbet som programledare för Oscarsgalan har han därför gett sin syn på saken i en intervju med Entertainment weekly, “Mina gayroller handlar inte bara om att vara “gay”, utan ofta spelar jag de rollerna i en tid där det inte var lätt att vara öppen med sin sexualitet, vilket jag tycker är en intressant aspekt”. Han fortsätter, “En av sakerna jag tycker är intressant med de rollfigurerna är hur de levde ett icke normativt liv som bröt mot den tidens konventioner och hur de hanterade situationen… eller så kanske jag helt enkelt är gay, vem vet?”.

Nu tror vi att Franco mest är konstnärlig och provokativ framför allt. Vad du själv?
